Nonprofit Event Planning Calendar

To the Nonprofit Community,

In January 2008, about 40 arts and cultural organizations met to discuss a master plan for promoting and increasing the visibility of arts and cultural organizations throughout the Monadnock Region. One result of this meeting was an Event Planning Calendar, so nonprofits could plan their major programs and fundraising events without conflicting with another nonprofit.   The cultural group agreed it was of value to include the whole Monadnock Region nonprofit community in the planning calendar.
 
The Event Planning Calendar is simply that; it is a password protected site for use by nonprofits for planning purposes only.  The calendar is not public.  A special website has been created to access the calendar at www.monadnockevents.org. To obtain a user name and password, go to the website and click on the tab "Request An Account".
 
The first page will outline the "Rules of Play" so there is an understanding about the use of the calendar. Entering an event is fairly straightforward, but there is an "Instruction" page to answer questions.  All entries that will appear on the calendar page should be kept very short. You will have room to expand on your event under the event description.
 
The calendar committee is interested in your feedback, so please feel free to contact us at info@monadnockevents.org. This email address should also be used to report any problems or to ask questions.  If you have a digital photo that you would like added to the "rotation" of photos on the site, please email them to the above address.
 
The Event Planning Calendar is there to benefit all Monadnock Region nonprofits. Your participation will help to ensure its success.
